In dermoscopy an asymmetric pigmented tumour was presented: in the centre a distinct asymmetric blue-greyish change of colour with atypical network on the right rim was found. In total at the periphery of the lesion no only regular network was seen. On the total periphery nearly regular globules were presented. The tumour had light to dark brown colours and some blue-greyish areas, too.

Histological diagnose
Compound-nevus - no indication of a melanoma also in the dermal part

Remarks
In melanocytic tumours with presented pattern the possibility of a melanoma has to be ruled out by excision biopsy and histopathology. With the help of a drawn or a print of the image the suspicious area can be marked for the histopathologist.
