Caso di dermatoscopia
Novembre 2007
My suspicion
Melanosis of the nipple
b) Dermoscopy
In dermoscopy a homogenous pigmentation reduced at the periphery was visible. There is only one colour and the differential structures are homogenous as well.
Dermoscopical diagnose
Melanosis of the nipple
Remarks
Due to the dermoscopy the diagnosis of a melanosis of nipple is reasonable. However, I recommend in the melanosis of nipple one to two follow-up images every two to three months. In the case of melanosis of the nipple no change will be noticed. But in the case of an initial melanoma, the size, colours and differential structures will be changed.
