Customer opinion

The introduction of sequential total body and dermoscopic imaging devices has been integral in improving the management of our patients presenting with multiple naevi. The ability to compare current full body and dermoscopic images to those taken at a previous date allows for the detailed assessment of whether changes have occurred which was previously often an impossible task for these patients. The ability for the imaging devices to compare images and highlight any new or changing pigmented lesions means that the about 50% of melanomas that arise de-novo are unlikely to be missed while keeping the rates of unnecessary biopsies low.
