"Details That Matter” – A Remarkable Success in Rome!

On 20 November 2025, the dermatology community gathered at the Hotel IBIS Styles EUR in Rome for the workshop “Dettagli che contano. Workshop pratico di Dermoscopia e Body Mapping.”
The event was made possible with the unrestricted contribution of FotoFinder and DermLite and welcomed around 70 participants from across Italy.

Inspiring Opening & Expert Faculty

The workshop opened with a warm welcome from Mohadma Daryaie, Director of International Sales & Business Development at FotoFinder, alongside Prof. Giuseppe Argenziano, Head of the Dermatology Unit at the University of Campania in Naples.

Together, they shared the story behind the idea for this workshop and highlighted why the team from the University of Campania has had such a significant global impact on the development and success of Total Body Mapping.

Prof. Argenziano was joined by his outstanding team: Gabriella Brancaccio, Giulia Briatico, Camila Scharf Pinto, and Marcello Di Benedetto.The session was held in collaboration with Alessio Lombardi (FotoFinder Italia) and Mohadma Daryaie (FotoFinder Systems Germany).

Live Experience: Real Patients, Real Worksflow

The team from Naples provided highly valuable guidance on patient preparation, timing for clinical images, and digital dermoscopy procedures—all demonstrated live with the audience.
Two patients with multiple nevi were examined on-site, allowing participants to follow the entire body mapping workflow step by step.
The patients were kindly referred by Dr. Salvatore Ruggeri from Rome, who has been monitoring them for several years.

AI in Clinical Practice
Mohadma Daryaie presented impressive clinical cases illustrating how AI enhances precision and efficiency in dermoscopy. Together with Alessio Lombardi, he demonstrated the reliability and impact of these tools in daily practice.

The workshop was highly interactive, with numerous questions and discussions sparked by both the presentations and the live demonstrations.
The evening concluded with a networking aperitivo, giving attendees the chance to share experiences and connect with colleagues.
